How the model works.
The arrangement is simple enough to state in one sentence: the client covers the cost of getting the crew and the equipment to the subject, and the fee covers the work. Nothing about travel is marked up, because a marked-up airfare is a worse deal for both sides than an honest one.
That structure is why a shoot in another country is quoted the same way as a shoot in Okotoks. The variable is distance and regulation, not appetite.
Three coverage tiers, all true at once.
Local. Calgary and the surrounding communities, flown routinely. Every served location is listed with its airspace classification.
Regional. Alberta and British Columbia, with confirmed work across Canada. The client does not need to attend — capture and digital delivery for owners who are elsewhere.
Worldwide. Anywhere on Earth on a client-funded travel basis, subject to the destination's regulatory position.
Regulation is researched before it is promised.
A drone that is legal in Alberta is not automatically legal anywhere else. Operator registration, flight permits, local sponsorship requirements, insurance proof and outright prohibitions on foreign operators all vary by country and sometimes by region within a country.

No. Transport Canada certification governs Canadian airspace only. Every destination has its own regime, which is why the regulatory research happens before the booking rather than at the airport.
